Welcome to the Hedgehog Haven! If you're considering hosting a hedgehog, this setup is tailor-made for the task. Put it together on your own, and we suggest using eco-friendly paint or opting for a more natural approach like the Japanese method known as Shou Sugi Ban. This technique involves charring the wood, cooling it, cleaning it through brushing and washing, and finally, treating it with oil for protection. While some prefer the blowtorch method for individual planks, the traditional way involves bundling three planks into triangular tubes, lighting the interior. Complete the process by coating with our beeswax bars, available in our shop.
